Holidays in Greece
Yes. However, local lockdowns apply from 01.00 to 06.00 in the red areas.
Corona certificate required
Yes, vaccination, recovery certificate or negative test (corona certificate) necessary for everyone aged 12 years and older
For transit to the Greek islands (after 72 hours) a vaccination, recovery certificate or negative self-test (up to 24 hours old) is required. To do this, the health form must be completed
At the border are samples with rapid tests: if the result is positive, a 10-day quarantine will apply at the expense of the Greek state
Requirements vaccination certificate
Valid from 14 days after second dose of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or first dose of Janssen. Vaccination certificate for people over 60 valid for a maximum of 7 months.
Requirements for proof of recovery
Valid from 30 to 180 days after positive PCR test.
Test proof requirements
Valid is a PCR test of up to 72 hours old or a rapid antigen test of up to 48 hours old.
Face mask
Mandatory in various public places and on public transport for everyone aged 12 and older.
Other documents
The Passenger Locator Form is mandatory for all travelers (complete no more than 24 hours before departure)
A health certificate is required for air travel
